The Harris Campaign is already engaging with youth grassroots organizations. Leaders for a number of youth political groups are eager for this change in campaign, showing their support in hopes of re-energizing Democratic voters. Following Biden’s departure, Voters of Tomorrow, a youth voting organization, reported that they had contact with Harris’ campaign. Gen Z for Change, a group that recently endorsed Harris after previously criticizing Biden’s policies, confirmed the campaign reached out to them as well—and they see Harris as a potential new adopter for their preferred policies. Members of the campaign including it’s national youth engagement director are also expected to attend the Voters of Tomorrow Summit in Atlanta, where hundreds of young activists, content creators, and grassroots groups will discuss the November election.
