E.l.f. Cosmetics is calling out all the “Dicks” and lack of diversity in corporate America. The “So Many Dicks” campaign highlights the disparities in representation on corporate boards, such as the fact that there are 19 times more men named “Dick” (Richard, Rich, Rick) than women of Middle Eastern descent. The campaign will be displayed in the Financial District at high-traffic locations such as Fulton Street Station and The Oculus until June 10. And with it, the brand is committed to doubling the rate of women and diverse workers appointed to corporate boards by 2027—changing “the board game.” Meanwhile, e.l.f. has seen significant sales growth, with an 85% increase during the holiday quarter, exceeding Wall Street expectations. The campaign will be displayed in the Financial District at high-traffic locations such as Fulton Street Station and The Oculus until June 10. (Marketing Dive)
