Universities in the U.K. are investing in counselling to meet the rise in demand. Young Europeans are continuing to struggle with their mental wellbeing, with three in four telling YPulse they’ve felt burnout. And in the U.K., the lack of support for those struggling has only increased the need for more aid, especially with the number of young people and children asking for help for a mental-health-related issue climbing. Now, with an estimated 10% of the student body in need of counselling, British universities are helping fill in the gap that the NHS doesn’t have the resources to fulfill. (iNews)
