Reese’s is looking for “America’s Trick-or-Treatiest Street” this Halloween. The brand started off by surveying 15K Americans to come up with a list of the top 150 streets to trick-or-treat down based on criteria like decorations, neighborhood participation, and walkability. Next, Reese’s appointed Halloween Council—made up of celebrities like Christina Ricci (of The Addams Family) and Kathy Najimy (of Hocus Pocus), plus creators Rachel Iwanyszyn, Zaire Alford, and Macy Blackwell—will crown one the best trick-or-treating street in America. The council’s decision will, of course, be documented in a two-part series posted to social media. The winning street will get a block party stocked with Reese’s goodies (in partnership with Zillow). The brand is sure to capitalize on the $4.1B the National Retail Federation estimates consumers will spend on Halloween candy this year. (Marketing Dive)
