ING is encouraging young women to embrace their finances through basketball. Ahead of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, the bank launched their new “Komm ins Game” (“Get in the Game”) campaign. They recruited German rapper Zah1de along with players from the German national basketball to translate basketball terms and mechanics into lessons about financial confidence. The idea is behind the campaign simple: the better Gen Z girls understand the game, the more confidently they can play it—and the same goes for their finances. The campaign extends beyond the court with an opening party, game-day watch parties, finance talks for school groups, podcast recording, and secret gigs for emerging female artists.
