Fortnite released a skin collection for The Odyssey. The new lineup of skins inspired by Christopher Nolan’s buzzy adaptation of The Odyssey are for both the history and movie buffs. The collection includes skins based on the characters and the actors who play them—like Odysseus, played by Matt Damon, and Agamemnon, played by Benny Safdie. Players can also use themed accessories like Odysseus’ Xiphos Pickaxe and the Bow of Iphytus Back Bling. There are rumors that Penelope, played by Anne Hathaway, might also get her own skin sometime in the future. Fortnite also hosted “The Odyssey Cups” tournament on July 15 and 16 that gave players a chance to earn the Odysseus skin for free. Fortnite has featured plenty of other movie characters in the past, releasing skins inspired by John Wick, Spider-Man, and more, blending young people’s favorite IPs and recent obsession with film into their favorite hobby.
