Gen Z is driving an investment surge in the U.K. According to Vanguard, more than a third (37%) of Gen Z investors took their first step into investing within the last two years, tallying up £25B in new investor contributions. One third of them chose to invest in crypto first, a stark contrast to the 9% of Gen X and 2% of those 62-and-older who invested in crypto first—naturally, given crypto wasn’t an option for them early on. Still, the number of young people who put faith in that investment right off the bat is notable. As for those who haven’t started investing yet, 91% of Gen Z and 84% of Millennials plan to do so by 2028. (Money Marketing)
