After discovering that Temu was exposing consumers to high-risk products like baby toys and small electronics that didn’t comply with safety rules, the ecommerce giant was hit with a lofty fine. Temu has grown to a 130M user base in Europe, but is more popular with Millennials rather than Gen Z—and Millennials are the ones with families to shop for.
