Speaking of Gen Z coffee trends, Starbucks added pumpkin spice matcha to their not-so-secret menu. Since hitting menus in 2003, the classic PSL has gone from exciting, to “basic,” to a can’t-live-without-it every fall staple. But fans have dreamed up tons of pumpkin-y secret menu drinks over the years to add onto it. The latest obsession? The pumpkin spice matcha latte. YPulse recently reported that Starbucks has made some fan-created “secret” drinks easier to order by slipping them into the app’s “offers” tab for rewards members, and this one made the cut this month. Ordering in person, customers will still need to ask the barista for the seasonal matcha twist with specific ingredients, but that only further promotes app adoption for easily personalized drinks.
