State Farm is expanding their gaming competition reality series to reach Gen Z. The brand is leveling up its decade-long investment in the esports space with the fourth season of Gamerhood. After drawing over 23M views last season, the show is back with a revamped format and will feature Gen Z-loved streamers like Kai Cenat, Sydeon, and Ludwig. Season four of Gamerhood will also include bigger production value and confessional-style moments inspired by classic reality TV (thank you, Love Island). Plus, to engage viewers at home, the new season will offer a fantasy league where viewers can build teams and win prizes. It’s a move that could pay off, especially as YPulse data shows 50% of young consumers agree, “I would follow esports if they were broadcast on TV.” (Marketing Dive)
