Taco Bell is tapping into Gen Z’s “yuppie” aesthetic with new golf apparel and a golf tournament.

Jul 10 2025

Taco Bell is tapping into Gen Z’s “yuppie” aesthetic with new golf apparel and a golf tournament. The fast-food chain is teaming up with apparel brand Bad Birdie to launch Taco Bell-branded golfwear aimed at Gen Z consumers. The new collection will feature Taco Bell x Bad Birdie pullovers, hats, polos, and other accessories, all inspired by the brands combined vibe—think streetwear featuring Taco Bell’s “Live Màs attitude.” It’s a nod to the new-wave “yuppie” revival, where Gen Z is blending athletic country club styles with modern wellness culture—wearing and using everything from stylish golf fits, pickleball gear, and crewnecks that signal health and wealth. The two brands are also hosting the first-ever “Taco Bell x Bad Birdie Invitational” where 16 Gen Z junior golfers have the chance to play in next year’s Ford Championship and Puerto Rico Open. The tournament will include creator appearances, philanthropic elements, and a more casual (and content-friendly, ofc) twist on traditional golf tournaments—perfect for a gen that cares about authenticity, community, and looking good while doing good.
