British Gen Z is ready to enjoy budget-friendly summer fun. Although financial limitations are a concern for 79% of 18-24-year-olds in the U.K. and 72% view enjoying summer as a luxury, 43% still think it’s more important to have fun in the summer than save money. Their dream vacation includes seven beach days and four staycations, and 25% say a theme park is a must-do part of their summer plans. But their realistic plans are a little more lowkey—Gen Z says they want to attend an average of six barbecues and six seaside fish-and-chip outings this summer. They also see quality transportation between events as an essential for comfort during long journeys. (Coventry Live)
