A new therapy service aims to help content creators specifically with their mental health. While a content creator career remains a highly sought-after choice for young gens, many influencers say the pressure to remain relevant, constantly feed the algorithm, and deal with public scrutiny can take a serious toll on their mental well-being. A 2024 Digital Health study even found a “significant association” between extended social media time and heightened negative emotions. That’s why CreatorCare, a new telehealth therapy service backed by Revive Health Therapy and Creators 4 Mental Health, wants to make it easy for people working in the creator economy to get the mental health support they need. The platform offers virtual sessions with licensed therapists who are familiar with the unique stressors creators face—like dopamine addiction and inconsistent income—and increases accessibility with sliding-scale rates.
