The majority of Gen Z workers in the U.K. want to run their own business one day.

The majority of Gen Z workers in the U.K. want to run their own business one day. Over two thirds (67%) of 18-27-year-olds aspire to own or lead a business in the future, according to research by American Express and The Conduit, and most feel confident in their creativity, collaboration, and leadership skills. However, many admit they lack the know-how to write a business plan or pitch for funding. The study also found that Gen Z craves more entrepreneurial freedom in their current roles, with 63% saying they’d feel more motivated if their workplace gave them space to innovate. The takeaway? Gen Z isn’t waiting to become the next wave of founders—they’re ready now, they just need the right tools, connections, and support. (London Daily News)
