Young Europeans are finding themselves in the middle of a divided political landscape.

Young Europeans are finding themselves in the middle of a divided political landscape. A recent survey of 18-35-year-olds across five EU countries found that the majority see politicians, social media, and traditional media as the β€œcentral forces fracturing society.” It also found that these political conversations tend to happen in close circles: in France, Italy, and Germany, over 65% of young adults say they mostly discuss politics with friends, while those in Denmark stand out with 49% leaning on their parents instead. Additionally, political alignment with friends is strongest in Germany (75%) and weakest in Denmark (50%). Despite these differences, young adults across all five countries agree on one thing: better education is the top solution for reducing societal division. (Euro News)
