Chicken Jockey memes are taking over the internet and getting young people in trouble.

Apr 09 2025

Chicken Jockey memes are taking over the internet and getting young people in trouble. As part of A Minecraft Movie’s viral success, the Chicken Jockey meme has become an unexpected breakout star, both on and off the screen. Rooted in Minecraft lore, where a baby zombie rides a chicken like a horse, the meme has sparked TikTok remixes, dubstep edits, cosplay, and plenty of fan-fueled chaos. YPulse already reported on young fans going wild in theaters, and now that energy is reaching new heights, with a few theaters even posting signs asking fans not to yell or throw things during the scene. There has even been at least one screening that was disrupted so badly that police were reportedly called in to escort moviegoers out. Still, none of the mayhem seems to be slowing the meme’s momentum, as Chicken Jockey continues to blur the line between online fandom and real-world spectacle. (CNN)
