British Gen Z think internet access is a basic human right. According to a recent study by the charity Hello World, 82% of British 18-28-year-olds believe that being able to be online at all times is equivalent to being able to access clean running water. And over two-thirds say that they rely on the internet for their livelihood—it’s no wonder Gen Z cannot imagine a world without the internet. The research also reveals a huge generation gap: only 52% of older generations believe in constant connectivity as a right, a -30pt difference from Gen Z. (Express)
