TikTok is integrating LTK for more influencer shopping. Formerly LiketoKnow.it and RewardStyle, the app now owned by TikTok allows consumers to directly shop items recommended by creators and influencers. And though TikTok Shop is already massively successful for this, integrating LTK will more fully embed affiliate marketing for items not on Shop. Like Pinterest and Instagram, it lets creators share products in a photo feed with direct links to retailers, making it especially popular for style influencers to link specific items they wear. Though only a few have been invited to use this new integration so far, it looks like a creator’s link to the item on LTK will appear in their TikTok comments section. (Tech Crunch)
