Gen Z and Millennials are driving a U.K. in-store shopping revival. Especially in the apparel and health and beauty sectors, younger gens are driving a trend of returning to physical stores to shop. Gen Z is twice as likely as the average U.K. shopper to visit clothing stores weekly. There’s also strong public support for high street retailers, with 71% of U.K. consumers wanting more government aid for these business owners and 70% advocating for rate cuts to help brick-and-mortar stores compete with online retail.
