Jimmy Dean and Joe Ando are selling a limited-edition tote bag that keeps sandwiches warm. YPulse has noted several unconventional food marketing collabs this year, including a streetwear merch line from Wendy’s and Gen Z-fave brand Lonely Ghost. Jimmy Dean is joining the foray into fashion with this designer, limited-edition tote bag—which taps the Western style currently on trend for its two patterns. But inside, a specialized warming pouch fit for the company’s breakfast sandwiches make this bag one of a kind. Although this pouch won’t cook sandwiches (naturally), it will maintain its warmth after microwaving—quite literally making this a “sandwich bag.” But it’ll be hard to get: only 50 bags are dropping per day after its release. Along with this launch, the brand is introducing breakfast sandwiches with pancakes as the bread, ready to keep in the tote. (Food & Wine)
