Parents are helping their Gen Alpha kids become influencers.On platforms like TikTok and Zigazoo, tweens (or kids not even that old yet) are going viral—but it’s their parents finalizing the post for them. A lot of this new generation of creators, who are usually under 10-years-old, are taking after popular influencers by posting their skin-care routines and “get ready with me” style videos. But as more and more children are posting content, with the aim of making a career of it, there’s debate over whether parents should be subjecting their children to the harmful aspects of being in the public eye.
