The political division between young men and women is less visible in votes.

Mar 15 2024

The political division between young men and women is less visible in votes. Many recent studies show that young men lean more conservatively than young women ideologically, which YPulse data can affirm. But when it comes to election time, Pew research showed young voters had the smallest gap between genders in the 2022 midterms, and both “overwhelmingly supported Democrats.” While there is certainly evidence to support claims of the divide on some topics, it’s unknown exactly how this will show up in the 2024 presidential election just yet—current research varies widely in results of how the gen will vote.
