The U.S. is experiencing a significant decline is birth rates—and it’s being blamed on Millennials. In 2022, the number of births per person dropped by 53% from 1960, resulting in 11.1 births per 1,000 people. The pandemic caused this number to significantly drop, and now the national birth rate is decreasing by approximately 2% each year.
