A recent survey found that 44% of 18-24-year-olds are likely to buy a home with a friend. Fairview New Homes reports that “co-ownership among friends and non-married partners” is on the rise. Buying a house with friends has all the same benefits of shared costs and expenses as buying with a significant other, but makes it a much more accessible option for some people—especially young renters who are struggling to buy on their own.
