The BBC is trying to make its century-old brand attractive to Gen Z with a new podcast. The national news broadcaster in the U.K. realized young people are disengaging with its products and to address this launched the Reliable Sauce podcast co-hosted by Kirsty Grant and Jonelle Awomoyi. The tone of the show is purposely more informal, fun, and engaging than what usually comes out of the BBC newsroom. With clips of the podcast posted on TikTok under the hashtag #ReliableSauce, they’ve already garnered millions of impressions. (Niemanlab)
