The U.S. Army is struggling to recruit soldiers—and it might have to do with TikTokers sharing their negative experiences. Several videos from young members have gained significant attention and highlight issues such as low pay, poor food, and unpleasant living conditions for members of the military. The Army has fallen short of its recruitment goals in recent years, with a significant portion of Gen Z being ineligible for military service—whether due to physical or mental health issues. To address this, the Army is planning to introduce a 90-day boot camp training program to help improve potential recruits—but many videos are discouraging enlistment at all. (Business Insider)
