Young Germans are among the unhappiest of their generation in Europe. According to a recent Unicef report, German Gen Z are increasingly unhappy. This year, they self-evaluated their level of happiness at 6.6 on a scale from zero to 10 (with 10 being the happiest)—making it one of the lowest rates in the region. YPulse’s research shows only three-quarters of young Germans say they’re usually a happy person, which is below the average in other Western European countries. (The Telegraph)
