Emerging research finds that Gen Z is more likely to grapple with their mental health than other generations. A new survey from Gallup and the Walton Family Foundation discovered that only 47% of Gen Z respondents say they’re currently thriving in their lives. Much of this struggle with mental health is speculated to be linked to the COVID-19 lockdowns and the effects on their social interactions and educational experience, as well as struggling to find employment in today’s inflation-ridden economy. However, this young gen is more open talking about their mental health struggles, as the study found. YPulse research shows that mental health help / care is the number one social cause / issue that Gen Z and Millennials are most passionate about. (USA Today)
