Ramadan is huge on TikTok—and TikTok for Business has launched a new video series that presents data and insights related to the Holy Month on the platform. Currently, #Ramadan has 48.1B views on the app, and TikTok is taking a creative approach to provide stats around the cultural holiday. In an interactive infographic, TikTok for Business transforms “the numbers into ‘mousalsalat’ style episodes akin to the TV shows that are so popular during Ramadan.” The mini video series is called “أرقام بينحكى فيها” which translates to “Numbers Worth Remembering,” showcases a video for each industry (automotive, online retail, food, luxury, etc.), and is meant to display how brands can drive results on TikTok. One of their key findings shows that Ramadan recipes on TikTok received 564M views in the Middle East and North Africa last year. (Digital Boom)
