Google wants travelers to pay the cheapest price possible for their plane tickets.

Google wants travelers to pay the cheapest price possible for their plane tickets. The tech giant is testing out a price guarantee program for Google Flights that will actually pay users back if the price of a flight goes down after it was booked it through the service. The feature is currently operating as a “pilot program” (pun intended, we guess) in the U.S. for specific flights and Google Flights says it will “monitor the price every day until departure” and pay the difference if the price is lowered. YPulse data shows young consumers are trying to cut costs wherever they can and looking for sales is one of the top ways they’ve been cutting back on their spending.
