Millennial parents don’t want to raise “the next Jeff Bezos.” According to a study published in Raising Gen Alpha, “81% of [M]illennials think it’s more important for their children to be happy than to be ‘successful.’” Millennial parents are more focused on celebrating their children’s individuality rather than measuring their success through productivity or how many things they accomplish growing up. The research also shows that “87% of [M]illennial parents are encouraging their children to stand up for what they believe in and 83% are nurturing their child’s individuality,” and they’re not so concerned about whether they’ll make big bucks one day.
