Gen Z is scared of their photos leaking online. Young people were always warned the internet was a dangerous place, and while this hasn’t deterred them from using it, they’re still expressing safety concerns. A Dell Technologies survey shows young peoples’ top cyber security concerns have to do with their personal data and photos getting shared without their permission. Following a number of recent high-profile cyber-attacks, their concerns are valid. For example, just last month, “hackers leaked details of over 200 million Twitter accounts onto an online forum, including email addresses and phone numbers.” YPulse’s The Privacy Issue trend research shows that 84% of young people are worried about their personal information being hacked or stolen.
