British Gen Z is most likely to identify as LGBTQ+ compared to any other generation. The most recent census of the U.K. population is out and reveals that Gen Z is more than twice as likely to identify as LGBTQ+ than older generations. This is especially true among female Gen Z, with almost one in ten identifying as LGBTQ+. YPulse has been telling you for while that the percentage of young adults who identify as LGBTQ+ is growing, and data from our Dating & Relationship Report also shows that European Gen Z are more likely than Millennials to be part of the LGBTQ+ community.
