Mielle Organics is partnering with P&G Beauty—and furthering their support for Black and Brown entrepreneurs with it. Black women are driving the beauty industry and Mielle Organics is the latest example of that. The brand has been taking off on TikTok and flying off of store shelves as more demographics try their products. Store sections for curly 4C hair types and textures are already super small, making Mielle’s virality a frustrating experience for the brand’s frequent BIPOC consumers (but not for long). The brand recently announced a new partnership with P&G Beauty and CEO Monique Rodriguez says the partnership is important because “[she] can completely understand why people are frustrated because of the lack of access to [their] products. [She] can also appreciate that new consumers are now discovering Mielle, and discovering this amazing oil.” (Essence)
