Popular buy now, pay later service Klarna is introducing a new platform to connect retailers with the right influencers. Already live in the U.S., the platform is available in all markets Klarna currently operates in, and will act as another channel their 450K retail partners can benefit from. The new space works with APPRL, the influence marketing provider Klarna acquired last year, and dips into a pool of over 500K influencers from around the globe. Retailers will be paired with their “perfect matches” and influencers who are thought to best represent their brand. YPulse’s Social and Mobile Marketing Preferences research shows that more young consumers are making purchases directly from their feeds and influencers’ pages, and 83% of Gen Z and Millennials agree that if you are posting a social media ad there should be a direct link to purchase.
