Meta is combining Facebook and Instagram profiles in one place to make it easier to switch between accounts.

Meta is combining Facebook and Instagram profiles in one place to make it easier to switch between accounts. Since the ability to make a post on Instagram and have it also post on your Facebook account (and vice versa) is already a thing, Meta is making it even easier to navigate back and forth between each app. By incorporating their Accounts Center into the apps, users will be able to swiftly bounce around all of their Instas, Finstas, business/personal profiles, and Facebook accounts. The Accounts Center will also showcase a user’s notifications from each account all in one place. YPulse’s Social Media Monitor report shows that Gen Z and Millennials are posting, commenting, and sending messages on Facebook and Instagram the most—and by continuing to blend the two platforms, Meta is making it easier for users to engage across both.
