ESPN’s new Creator Network is giving new Gen Z content creators access to exclusive sports experiences. YPulse’s recent Celebrities and Influencers report shows that young people trust online influencers more than any other public figure—and ESPN is taking advantage of this data by working with ten up-and-coming creators on TikTok and Instagram. The ESPN Creator Network claims, “while creators will not be compensated, they will be provided with travel, tickets, access, equipment, a series of learning courses and discretion over how they program their channels.” The program will focus solely on TikTok at first, starting in October, and will run for about four months (during peak football season of course).
