Cannabis brand Old Pal is playing into the home gardening trend with a “grow your own” promotion. To inspire weed / cannabis consumers to grow their own plants, Old Pal is selling three semi-mature plants of the citrusy-sweet Hifi Lemon strain in fully fertilized two-gallon containers at Southern California dispensaries starting April 20. The plants will produce weed within the 15-22% THC content range and will come with a Hifi Lemon pre-roll to try out their crop. Additionally, the brand partnered with PlantWave to capture sounds from the fully-grown Hifi Lemon plants, turning them into musical tracks featured in its “Pot Sounds” playlist. (Adweek)
