Pinterest’s 2022 prom trends report reveals The Great Gatsby and Euphoria as leading sources of fashion inspiration for teens. Prom is right around the corner for high schoolers, and Pinterest data has identified key trends developing as teens search the platform for inspiration. Searches for “non-binary prom outfits” are up 13x, while searches for “Euphoria themed party outfits” and “Great Gatsby prom dresses” are up 19x and 7x, respectively. Meanwhile, light blue, lilac, black, and neon colors are popular dress / outfit colors users are searching for. Pinterest also kicked off Prom Week this week, offering hair, nail, and style inspiration to users in partnership with actress Peyton List, Teen Vogue, and some of the biggest names in beauty and fashion to help make this prom season one to remember—especially considering this will (hopefully) be the closest to normal prom season in three years.
