Adidas Originals is rolling out a platform to help consumers create metaverse avatars inspired by its new Ozworld shoe.

Apr 06 2022

Adidas Originals is rolling out a platform to help consumers create metaverse avatars inspired by its new Ozworld shoe. In partnership with Ready Player Me, Adidas is launching an Ozworld experience, which it claims is the first personality-based AI-generated avatar creation platform where users can design a personalized avatar. Inside the Ozworld experience, users are asked a series of questions about their physical appearance, personal aesthetic, and more to create a unique digital avatar based on their responses, which is then blended with the aesthetic of the Adidas’ Originals’ Ozworld shoe collection. Not only are users able to use their personalized avatar across metaverse platforms, they can also download their avatar to use as stickers on social media platforms. YPulse’s Metaverse trend research shows 41% of Gen Z and 34% of Millennials who play virtual world games say their digital avatar helps them express their creativity, and creating experiences for them to customize their digital avatar is one way to reach them.
