With COVID uncertainty still killing the dating vibe, many young Europeans are “hesidating,” or feeling indifferent about romance.

With COVID uncertainty still killing the dating vibe, many young Europeans are “hesidating,” or feeling indifferent about romance. A recent survey from Plenty of Fish found that 58% of singles on its app are unsure if they’re looking for a fling, something serious, or nothing at all—a phenomenon brought on by the ongoing unpredictability of life caused by the pandemic that the app has deemed “hesidating.” When lockdowns lifted, dating app use surged as young people looked for meaningful connections after a long period of loneliness. But with life still feeling so uncertain, Plenty of Fish predicts that “hesidating” will be the new COVID dating trend. (Metro UK)
