Millennial parents are ready to celebrate Halloween. Many got creative to keep Halloween traditions going last year (remember candy slides?), and they’ll be keeping it going in 2021 despite lingering COVID-19 issues. According to the National Confectioners Association, the majority (93%) of Millennial parents are planning to celebrate, and they’re more likely than the general population to have Halloween celebration plans. Candy brands are offering up special items to help, from Mars Wrigley’s spooky Skittles to Ferraro’s Halloween countdown calendar. YPulse’s new Halloween report found that the number of Millennial parents who say they’ll be bringing their kids trick-or-treating has increased from 34% in 2020 to 42% this year, so candy sales should get a boost.
