Balenciaga is coming to the Fortnite metaverse. YPulse told you high-fashion brands have been making their way to Roblox, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and even Snapchat. Now, popular Fortnite characters are getting a Balenciaga makeover in a new partnership between the high-fashion brand and popular game. Doggo will model Balenciaga’s popular Speed sneaker wearing a branded hoodie and jeans (Doggo will also show off the branded look in 3D video billboards around the world), while Banshee is being made-over with a tiger-striped bodysuit that lights up in red as the game progresses, Ramirez is outfitted in a sequined top and tattered jeans that glitter from silver to gold throughout the game, and Knight will wear a hoodie, shorts, and armor boots. Players can browse the new Balenciaga outfits and accessories, explore a digital Balenciaga store, and even do a custom Balenciaga dance inside Fortnite. Users who purchase and play in their Balenciaga ‘fits can also submit photos of their characters for a chance to get featured in virtual billboards at the Fortnite town square. (Vogue)
