Some employers are developing hybrid workspace models to meet employees where they’re at. YPulse’s employment and career goals research shows that both in-person and remote work is desired post-pandemic, and workplaces are starting to adapt to their employees’ changing work lifestyles. Traction on Demand—a Salesforce consulting partner and app development firm—is reportedly in talks with bike shops, cafes, restaurants, microbreweries, and community halls about how to deliver a workspace model that supports local businesses while serving as a space for its staff to congregate. The model would allow Traction employees to collaborate in select local businesses as a third workspace option in between their homes and the corporate office. IT consulting firm NTT Data is also experimenting with a new model dubbed “hub cities” that will serve as small workplace hubs near clients and staff in major cities across the U.S. (Digiday)
