Sharon Chuter’s Uoma Beauty is teaming up with Walmart for an exclusive beauty line. We told you about Chuter’s Pull Up for Change campaign last summer, which forced beauty brands to be transparent about how diverse their team of employees are. Now, her brand Uoma Beauty is launching “Uoma by Sharon C,” an affordable, and sustainable beauty line exclusively being sold at Walmart and on the brand’s site. The item prices range from $5.99 to $23.99 and are “naturally derived, vegan” with cruelty-free formulas and 100% recyclable packaging. The products will also be inclusive with their foundation offered in 30 different shades, aligning with the 80% of young people that agree “Brands that create products for skin have a responsibility to represent all types of colors / tones,” according to YPulse research.
