| Refinery29’s experiential event 29Rooms is coming back, and they’re encouraging brands to create “more inventive and engaging programs.” As live events become a hopeful reality for summer 2021, Refinery29’s 29Rooms is preparing for a new kind of immersive experience as they plan their return this September. According to a Vice Media poll, young people will be looking for escapist experiences, and 29Rooms will “lean into more tactile, more tangible, unmissable, un-uploadable content.” But really what they’re asking from brands is to kick it up a notch as Gen Z and Millennials look forward to diving back into unique experiences. While in the past the rooms served as photo “backdrops,” the goal this year is to make the experience an “unmissable event” by creating more interactive moments that drive connections between brands and consumers.
