White Castle is reinventing their traditional Valentine’s Day celebration as a drive-in and carhop event.

White Castle is reinventing their traditional Valentine’s Day celebration as a drive-in and carhop event. For thirty years, the burger chain has hosted an annual “Slider Lover’s Point” event that allowed couples to book romantic dinners at their restaurants. But during the pandemic, they’ve had to switch things up. This year, the company is transforming 300 of its locations into “classic drive-ins complete with carhop service.” Customers will be able to book a time for a “socially distanced Valentine’s Day date” through the OpenTable site or app. Once they arrive, employees will direct them to a parking space and take their orders. Drive-in and drive-thru marketing took off last year, and it’s evident that it’s going to be huge in 2021 as well.
