YPulse’s data on young consumers’ holiday plans shows that 70% of 13-39-year-olds like watching made-for-TV holiday movies. During the holidays last year, Netflix’s holiday movies were among young viewers favorite content to watch, and last weekend their Emma Roberts-led romcom Holidate debuted at the top of their most-watched list. But the success of the movie also marks an important milestone for the platform: the first time that their daily top-ten list in the U.S. was completely made up of original Netflix movies and series.
