Virtual K-pop group K/DA is releasing their first album. Some companies are hosting virtual concerts with human musicians, while others are creating virtual artists. In 2018, Riot Games introduced the virtual K-pop group K/DA in their League of Legends World Championship, the game opened with an AR concert featuring a group of “singers” “made up of both in-game characters and real-world pop stars.” After a hiatus, the company is bringing K/DA back next month with a debut EP, All Out. Along with the launch, there will be a comic book series and a TikTok-style dance competition. (The Verge)
