Millennials face higher death rates than previous generations. Despite their focus on wellness, a new report by Mood Analytics, published by Blue Shield Blue Cross, shows that Millennials’ “physical and mental health is declining faster” than Gen Xers’, and their healthcare costs could be as much as 33% higher. One major issue is depression and substance abuse caused by financial stresses. Ironically, their health issues could decrease annual income, and life expectancy, for the generation.
